Our house is somewhat difficult to find when the snow is 10′ high. We are the only house on the corner of Soda Springs road and Palisades. The driveway is on Palisades.
The Soda Springs/Norden exit is about 55 mi. East of Auburn. It is before the Donner Summit (and the Boreal ski area). It is the same exit you take to get to Sugar Bowl and Royal Gorge.
